Live Music Options for Saturday, August, 20 ~ Day Tripping~
Around the Region:
Starting out in the western part of the state in a bunch of small towns I have not yet visited, I have some fun for all you rockers!
We find Thunderstruck sandwiched on the bill at Hawg In The Holler Music Festival. This charitable event is taking place at Vino Oasi, located at 3200 Bliss Trail, Stem, NC. Doors open at 11 am and the event is all day with the areas best AC /DC Tribute Act this side of the Mississippi appearing the the middle of the day.
At press time the schedule shaped up like this for the day’s events: McCuller’s Crossroad 12 pm; Thunderstruck, 1:30 pm; The Restless 3:15 pm; and closing out this Second Annual Community Benefit will be Tim Cifers, 5:30-6:45 pm.
As mentioned this is Charity Event and the Second Annual Festival’s beneficiary is the Granville Education Foundation. Come out and rock for education!

There is a live Acoustic Jam taking place at The Wet Whistle Company, located at 101 Bonnie Pl., Suite E, Archdale, NC. On hand for the event will be Baconessence Food Truck will be here for the first time and we couldn’t be more excited! Come by between 2 – 5 and listen to some acoustic jam and enjoy some BACON!

The biggest MC Anniversary Party going down in the east today has already opened the gates at 9 am for this all day fun event. Tuckahoe MC celebrates their 28th Anniversary with a huge party featuring live music by Solid Ground at 3 and Rebel Sons rocking you into the night. Admission is $15.00 at the gate.Lots of prizes and games and fun all day long. A steak dinner and a chance to win $5,000. Nothing beats a biker’s bash so head on down Highway 24 and look for the signs when you hit Purgutory, NC! Or Call BamBam, Phatbak or Grinch at the numbers on the very bottom of the flyer above!
